Biography
Formijang is a Presbyterian trained pastor since 2009, a scholar in African Christian Theology. He has been an Ordinary Level Religious Studies Examiner with the Cameroon General Certificate of Education (GCE) Board since 2010. Formijang is an African Theologian who holds Scripture as the centre of Christian theology, with great interest in African Philosophy, History, Beliefs and Practices; and how the Christian evangelist engages Primal spirituality to transmit the Gospel. He loves critical reading and pays keen interest in indigenous ingenuity and the use of Mother Tongue in interpreting facts. He is a PhD candidate at his Alma mater –Akrofi-Christaller Institute (ACI) Ghana and has submitted his thesis waiting for oral examination. Formijang is a passionate indigenous researcher and carrier mentor on African indigenous search. He is a trainer of trainers in ministry and evangelism, and an advocate for justice. He has been a visiting scholar at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, Kentucky, USA in Spring 2023, and currently undergoing short-term research at Calvin University, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. He is the Chaplain, Director of Research and lecturer at Life Trust Professional Institute of Competence (Tiko University), a freelance mentor and editor to several Masters and Bachelors’ students’ dissertations in diverse fields, with special interest on research methodology and academic writing.
He is fervently married to Mfonku Miranda Ntusah, a laboratory scientist - with an MSc in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology since 2012, presently rounding-up studies for a BSc in nursing. The Formijangs are blessed with four boys.
